Good things come to those who wait...
These past few months, we have been spoiling ourselves a little more than usual. Whether we were hugging our distant families for the first time in over a year, enjoying dining indoors at our favorite local restaurant, or cheersing to the advancements with vaccinations, we consistently found ourselves celebrating and reaching for the 2013 & 2014 vintages to guide us through. It only seems right to let you in on the prize.
We are featuring a select offering from our library from these vintages. These wines have been aged gracefully since release. No need to cellar as these wines are ready to drink now. Perfect for collectors, special occasions and one-of-a-kind gifts, these bottles are offered on a limited basis. Many of the wines featured below are available in limited quantities and only obtainable while supplies last. In fact, our wine club (who received first access) already snatched up all the bottles of 2014 Devil's Gulch Pinot that we had available, so don't delay.
No one likes waiting for their wine to arrive, especially library wines. To add to the celebration, we are offering complimentary UPS overnight shipping on all orders of 12+ bottles of any assortment of our Library wines!
{ Notes on each vintage }
The 2013 vintage was a very correct vintage, with the vineyard qualities coming through in a light but complex way. The extra years in bottle have added breadth and savory notes to the fruit.
The 2014's are big and chunky now, with more earthy notes coming up, but still plenty of fruit for additional time in the bottle if you like.

In the Vineyards: the growing season continues
Our weather this summer seems to be especially quirky, going from super hot to drizzly fog. The vines don't seem to mind the back and forth, and are enjoying the season just fine, growing healthy canopies and carrying a nice crop—not too light and not too heavy. In the pictures above of Emerald Ridge Vineyard that we took today, you can see the leaves on the ground that have been pulled to let sun in (but not too much) and airflow get to the clusters. Veraison is coming up next, which we expect to see in a few weeks.
