school level for the past decade. He was born and raised in Northern
California, where he currently resides with his young family. You

Wine Club Harvest Lunch
August 16, 2014
Join Dan and Steve for a reception, vineyard walk and luncheon in
the heart of the Dutton Ranch main shop and vineyard! This is a once-a-year
opportunity to ask your questions of the winemaker and grower, just
before harvest begins. We'll be tasting a gorgeous assortment of our
current release wines, plus we'll be pulling out a special wine from
our cellar, and even a little of our extremely precious Sticky Finish
for dessert! $60 per person, and reservations are required. Contact
or call us at 707.823.3887 to secure your seats!
Harvest is here! Each weekend during the month of September, we'll
be highlighting a vineyard being harvested, with grapes and juice
from the site, along with tasting of the current vintage of that wine.
Learn about the exciting season this is harvest, and all the details
and pieces that make each vineyard unique and factor into decisions
on picking, fermenting, pressing, and more.
Artist Reception: Mary Fassbinder
September 21, 2014
Mary Fassbinder's plein air paintings will be on display in our tasting
room from September 15 to November 11, and she'll be on hand for an
artist reception on Sunday, September 21, from 1-3pm. Join us for
a tasting of Dutton-Goldfield wines while meeting the artist and checking
out her latest work.
Riedel Tasting Experience
September 27, 2014
Ever wondered if the glass you drink your wine from matters? In this
educational sit-down tasting, you'll learn from the experts at Riedel
the difference a glass really does make in the taste of a wine. We'll
taste through three wines in the varietal-specific glass, then taste
them in another glass-you'll be amazed by the difference! After the
tasting, we'll move into the tasting room for a private reception.
The tasting seminar is $75 per person for wine club members/$85 per
person for non-club members, and the set of four glasses (retail value
$138) is yours to take home. Space is limited to 40 people; call us
at 707.823.3887 to reserve your spots.
October 18, 2014
It's our 16th harvest for Dutton-Goldfield, and our tasting room is
celebrating! We'll be featuring a special flight of wines for the
day, paired deliciously with tasty bites from our friends at Bay Laurel
Culinary. The wine and food flight is complimentary with your $150
wine purchase, otherwise $25 per person.
Artist Reception: Victoria Kochergen
November 16, 2014
Victoria produces gorgeous and detailed botanical drawings with colored
pencil, and her work will be on display in our tasting room from November
12 through January 13. We'll host an artist reception for her on Sunday,
November 16, from 1-3pm.
